The formal launch of Reboot Leadership LLC.

If you’ve been following my social media lately, you’ve noticed a theme. I have been posting relentlessly about Rebooting the PIP.

I’ve been talking about it because the Performance Improvement Plan is the “canary in the coal mine” for organizational culture. When the PIP is broken (and it usually is), it’s a symptom of a larger system failure. It represents a failure of clarity, regulation, and resource architecture.

But here is the part I haven’t shared yet.

All of that writing wasn’t just content. It was the blueprint for a new kind of firm.

The Realization

A few months ago, I posted to LinkedIn that I was looking for a job. But as I started exploring opportunities, I had a realization during a conversation with a friend:

“If I’d had different career counseling early on, I think I would have been an architect.”

I realized I don’t just want to do the coaching work inside the building. I want to build the infrastructure that makes the work possible.

So, I am taking myself off the market.

I am formally launching Reboot Leadership LLC.

We are pivoting from a general coaching practice to a strategic firm focused on Mid-Market Organizations. We specifically serve Scientific/Technical and Women-Led enterprises.

The “Reboot” Methodology

My recent blog posts on this website reveal the pillars of our work. Reboot Leadership is built to operationalize empathy and accountability. We provide the frameworks to help leaders navigate the “messy middle” of management:

  • Reboot the PIP: Moving performance improvement from a legal checklist to a structured protocol for growth, justice, and efficacy.
  • The Physics of Burnout: Using the Job Demands-Resources model to re-architect workflows. We operate on the belief that you cannot “self-care” your way out of a broken system.
  • Leader as Regulator: Teaching leaders to architect systems that regulate the team’s nervous system. This allows for high-level decision-making under pressure.

The Shift

I am no longer just “Amy the Coach.” I am building the firm that helps you architect a culture of High-Trust Accountability. We diagnose the system; we don’t judge the person.
